Originally a single-storey vineyard house with a central underpass was rebuilt in the first half of the twenties. Upstairs, residential space was created and the ground floor was completely freed up for commercial use. The architect J. Merganc ignored the traditional morphology of the suburban building and designed the extension as a dynamic composition in the spirit of Cubist expressionism. The facade of the house is defined by three broken half-cylinder bay windows, which boldly step into the street space and thus represent one of the bravest cubist facades in Slovakia. Despite several interventions in the ground floor, the building is still relatively well preserved.
