The Ľudovít Fulla Gallery was the first gallery built in Slovakia after 1945. In 1964, M. Kusý elaborated a feasibility study, which was two years later elaborated into the planning documents by Š. Hatala. The gallery consists of two cuboids lying on top of each other - the upper one is placed perpendicular to the lower one and its significant fifteen-meter overhanging is a significant trait of the building. In the upper part there are exhibition spaces, at the bottom there is an entrance, administration and two flats. The façade is divided only by a narrow horizontal strip of windows. The front wall is decorated with mosaics. Dark marble, brizolite and aluminum slats are used on the facades. The load bearing system is provided by a steel frame.
