Open-structured development of brick residential houses is situated by the city ring on the edge of the historic city center near the city walls. The housing estate was built at the turn of the fifties and sixties and its urbanistic concept is symptomatic of the time - a hint of blocks, embossment on the corner building as well as an axially symmetrical composition of two facades oriented to the boulevard. Individual houses are bricked with reinforced concrete slabs. The upper floor's roof slab is cantilevered. At that time in the press, the author was blamed for using an atypical corner part of the building, which makes the whole development more expensive. On the contrary, the complete public facilities of the housing estate, greenery and deployed artworks were highly valued. Today the estate might be considered the best example of a modern housing complex in the city.
