Due to the row-house character of the development in the centre of Senica, a relatively confined site between the buildings of the Branč Hotel and the Jednota shop was allocated for the building of the house of culture. The site predetermined to a large extent the basic concept of the building, the characteristic feature of which is compactness and vertical arrangement of individual facilities. The main operational units of the building are a hall with a sloping floor for film, theatre and music, a hall with a flat floor for social events, a set of club rooms, and a set of related technical equipment and communication - dispersion areas.
The main architectural motif, visible in the views from the square, is the accentuated mass of the community hall. It is reinforced by the receded ground floor and the robust extended attic. The choice of materials used as well as the quality of the detailing clearly communicates the public function of the house even today. The full surfaces of the exposed parts of the façades and the pillars on the front elevation are clad in travertine; the parapet and the articulation mullions are made of bronze-colored anodized aluminum. The metal window frames, fitted with brown heat-insulating glass, correspond to the same color scheme.
