V roku 1951 absolvoval VŠ u prof. Fuchsa na FAPS VŠT v Brne - tvorivý vzor v architektúre ale najmä v urbanizme, ktorý je podstatnou časťou tvorby architekta. Dôveroval krédu: “Iba dobrý architekt, môže byť dobrým urbanistom” (B.Fuchs).
