Four-storey high department store is integrated within the historic street pattern. Entrance to the building is enhanced with large storefront windows. The volume of the building is offset from the street level and fully reflects the principles of functionalist aesthetics. Bands of ceramic tile cladding alternate with steel framed strip windows in the facade. The building is covered with a flat roof. Skeletal framing of the structure allowed for a generous open concept of the retail areas.
