The layout of this rooming house corresponds to its location on a corner lot. It is compact, concentrated around a central hall, with a fan of lodging rooms around it. This floor plan scheme is repeated on all three floors. Double-flight staircase as the vertical communication core of the building is connected with living quarters through a narrow hallway. Stern expression of the building exterior, devoid of any frills, documents Weinwurm's already mature and self-confident puristic stance. Smooth planes of the facades are disrupted only with pairs of traditional windows divided with a subtle post and a flat risalit projection with similarly joined french windows.
