Architects Merganc and Klimeš intensively collaborated especially in the second half of the 1920s and in the 1930s. They built a common family semi-detached house on the slope of the oldest residential area of the city. The concentrated volume of a large family house represents the Rondocubist period of the architects' work. It has a symmetrical composition based on traditional principles and a characteristic arched ornament on the facade.
