In a villa district on the slopes above the Danube, this building was built for the use of the official state trade unions. It is divided into a social and dining area (with a capacity of 250), with the bent volume of the adjoining accommodations wing (a total of 75 guest rooms with balconies) and a separate sections for employee residences. Characteristic of the style are the subtle balconies, terraces, and glass facades; the ease, lightness and transparency make this building one of the best works of its era.
