An ecclesiastical structure with a Functionalist flavour, the church has three naves, represented by the stepped height difference in the massing. The presbytery has a straight end. The flat facades are articulated by the graded horizontal strip and subtly raised windows, with the greatest aesthetic attention paid to the entrance facade. The symmetrical composition is supplemented by the rectangular side dower with a pyramidal roof. Occupying the site of an older Baroque church, St. Margaret is one of Harminc’s last works.
