At the time of the insurance company's design, the architect had a sufficient amount of experience in composing large units, and its nine-storey tower building is a brilliant proof of this. It confidently rises in the corner of Košice's main square, where it was the most distinctive modern house until the second half of the 20th century. The rugged volume graduates from six floors of the constitutive volume up to the above mentioned nine in the corner tower. The two-storey ground floor, lined with polished travertine slabs, opens into the street through large window openings and, in combination with the long loggias of the lower wing, makes the otherwise puristically modest facade special. The insurance company's building is one of A. Skutecký's best works.
